OpenMigration LLC is a small services and consulting firm geared towards providing Open Source solutions to the people and businesses of the greater Florence, South Carolina region. We regard it as our mission to help businesses get the level of service and support they need, while at the same time ensuring that they are no longer forced to pay exorbitant licensing fees or obey arbitrary EOL timelines. About the people at OpenMigration:

CTO Geremy Condra is a frequent contributor to Open Source projects including Sabayon and Mint Linux. He is a C, C++, and Python developer with extensive experience in rapid application development, virtualization, and clustering in fields ranging from grid supercomputing to embedded development. He is currently a student at Francis Marion University, where he is double majoring in Computer Science and Political Science.

CFO Patrick Laban is a student of Business and Computer Science at Francis Marion University. His interest in F/OSS stems from watching his fellow students- many of them working several jobs simply to support themselves- spend hundreds of dollars to purchase required software when viable open source alternatives were available to them. Since then he has worked tirelessly to increase awareness of F/OSS through an emphasis on business software products and community support and documentation.
